
Biography
Pom Pom aka Kellen Pomeranz is a New York-based producer and songwriter. Her unique production style enables her to add an interesting flair to hit records while also cultivating her passion for developing up-and-coming artists with original points of view. Recently, she co-wrote and co-produced mxmtoon’s single “ok on your own (ft. Carly Rae Jepsen),” and got nominated for her first Grammy for co-writing & co-producing John Legend’s “Conversations in the Dark” (Columbia Records), which hit #1 on iTunes after Legend performed the song on hit TV show This is Us and has since been certified Gold by the RIAA. Pom Pom also co-wrote & produced the song “Novocaine” by The Unlikely Candidates (Sony RED), which recently hit #1 on the Alternative Radio charts.
Other recent releases include “Saturday Nights” by Weston Estate (their first release on Arista Records), “Company” by Leyla Blue and “Everybody Wants You” by Johnny Orlando, both via Island Records. Additionally, Pom Pom has had releases with Rence & Noah Cyrus, renforshort, Riz La Vie, Juke Ross, and Gia Woods and upcoming releases on Octavio, Valentina Cy, and more. She has also collaborated with THEY., BabyJake, K.Flay, Tayo Sound, UPSAHL, boyband, Rosie, AJ Mitchell, Max Leone, Cyn, Tai Verdes, gnash, Nombe, Noah Kahan, Cassadee Pope, and Gia Woods to name a few.
Pom Pom was honored to be the third female producer ever (following Missy Elliot & Wondagurl) to be featured in Apple Music’s producer series “Behind The Boards.”
